The
farmhouse "Viamaggio"
of 400 hectares of
ground, rises on a
beautiful hill with
a magnificent view
of the country side
at about 20
kilometres South of
Siena. The name of
the farm comes from
„ Via Maior „
which was the
principal road to
Siena, used by the
pilgrims. The
farmhouse was
originally one of
the guard towers
still to be seen
today. It was
transformed in a
monastery and later
in a farmhouse.
Last but not least
after a lot of
refurbishing it
became a holiday
farmhouse.
The rustic and familiar atmosphere of Viamaggio take part perfectly of this area rich of natural and artistic beauties.
The house offers hospitality in lovely mini-appartements built in the old farmhouse itself, all with fireplace, kitchenette, bathroom, t.v and refrigerator. In the cosy clubhouse it‘s possible to organize reunions and study courses etc.
The horses
staying in the well

pasture land, play
